I love a good art museum, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is no exception. While staying in the SOMA district, a local term for the “South of the Market” area in San Francisco, I realized the Museum of Modern Art was within walking distance of where I was staying, so I spent a lovely afternoon exploring. The museum is large with 7 floors of art to offer, so I felt like I was getting my money’s worth for the ticket. My favorite exhibits included Pop, Minimal, and Figurative Art, the Andy Warhol Gallery, and Don’t! Photography and the Art of Mistakes.
I spent forever reading every section of this piece and laughing out loud in the museum.
And do not forget to take a moment appreciate the view from the museum building itself!
