Duke’s Malibu

I am not sure if it is because I am from the Midwest, but I will always choose a brunch buffet over eating a small brunch “meal” at a trendy cafe. Based on the breakfast/brunch restaurants I have tried in Southern California thus far, Duke’s Malibu is number one on my list for Sunday brunch. My favorite things about Duke’s Malibu include the fruit and dessert selection (always have a good balance), the lady who sang and played her ukelele during our meal, the addicting huli-huli chicken and rice, and the fun interior style. I ended up eating there on a cloudy day so the view was blocked, but the restaurant is located right on the beach and I am sure I would usually love the view.

*There is required valet parking when you pull up to the restaurant, but it was worth paying for the lack of hassle especially in Malibu where parking can be extra difficult sometimes.
