Wildhorse Saloon

Although I peaked into multiple bars along Honky Tonk Highway none of them captured my interest until I came upon Wildhorse Saloon on 2nd street, which branches off of Lower Broadway. If you are looking for the crowded bar with more of a party atmosphere then this probably is not the place you are looking for. However, if you are looking for a spacious bar, really good music from up and coming artists, better food, and line dancing, then you should check out Wildhorse Saloon.

The Wildhorse Saloon is best described as a mix between restaurant and concert venue, with occasional line dancing and bars spread throughout. The venue is huge, with three floors of seating, a stage, space for dancing, and an attached store. The store included a variety of souvenirs, from Wildhorse Saloon themed items to country artists themed items(lots of Little Big Town) to general Nashville themed items. The atmosphere is definitely casual, although the restaurant menu is a step up from bar food(and a little pricier).

The saloon is great for families visiting the area as they do allow in children, anyone under 21 was just required to wear a wristband. The children really enjoyed the line dancing that popped up multiple times throughout the night and on the second floor there was pool and lounge furniture, that seemed to attract a group of teenagers.

The best part of the Wildhorse Saloon is the talented performers. Throughout the night multiple up and coming Nashville artists performed mostly their original music. All of the artists were great and it was fun listening to new music.
