Gatlinburg’s main street is a mix between charming, amusing, and unusual. You will find most of Gatlinburg’s shopping, eateries, and attractions on the main street of Parkway. Overall Gatlinburg is a small town, and most hotels are located within a couple of blocks from Parkway, but there is also a trolley available that stops at multiple hotels and multiple locations along the main road.
Most of the food options along Parkway are fast food or fast casual restaurants. Places like Subway and Pizza Hut sit next door to candy shop after candy shop, while popular sit down restaurants such as Texas Roadhouse, TGI Friday’s, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and Dick’s Last Resort are spread out along the street. Honestly room service at my hotel came in handy when I was tired of greasy food.
Three of the most popular spots along Parkway are the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, Ole Smoky Whiskey Distillery, and Sugarlands Distilling Company. These three locations provide samples, demonstrations, and bottles of Moonshine and Whiskey that you can take home.
The shopping and attractions along Parkway really vary between fun and unusual. There are of course souvenir and knickknack shops along Parkway, but also some really charming shops.
