Located in Malibu, California, with a laid-back atmosphere and a unique and locally grown menu, Malibu Farm Restaurant represents southern California well. My favorite part about the restaurant is the location. I sat under an umbrella, listened to the waves, looked out at the Pacific ocean, and drank one of the best iced lattes I have ever had out of a glass.
To be honest I was a little hesitant about the food. As someone who is from Chicago where thick pizza with tons of sauce and sausage reigns supreme, I was surprised that I enjoyed the thin-crusted cauliflower pizza. Also, as someone who is not a huge fan of seafood, I really enjoyed the crab cakes and would recommend them.
The parking is a little limited, so I would suggest giving yourself enough time to find a space. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant, but it also services people visiting the beach so be prepared for crowds at peak hours.
Overall Malibu Farm Restaurant has a pricey menu, small portions, unique and tasty food, and a relaxed ambience. Did I mention this restaurant represents southern California well?
