Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City

Before traveling to Beijing, China, I had heard about Tiananmen Square and knew it was a significant part of history, however I was not sure what to expect before I visited it in person. Tiananmen Square also includes the National Museum of China and the Chair Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and it is located in the heart of Beijing.. Tiananmen Square is also connected to The Forbidden City and I would recommend a visit to both of these places due to their magnificent architecture, design, culture, and history. I would be prepared for a lot of walking as both places are spread out(like really spread out) including a few sets of stairs to walk up, and when you walk around the crowds are not too bad but when you get closer to some of the buildings, the crowds get bigger. If possible I would suggest visiting as early as possible to beat some of the crowds.
