The Napa Valley area, which includes Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, and Sonoma, is known for its wineries but is also home to some of the best restaurants in the United States, and even the world(I’m looking at you The French Laundry). So, of course I was going to try to find a great dining experience while I was in the area. While I am not a risk-taker when it comes to food(I’m still working on this important travel aspect), I did find a charming place to eat in St. Helena that I truly enjoyed called Goose & Gander.
Things to Know About Goose & Gander:
- As I already mentioned, I am currently a very picky eater and I have trouble trying new foods, so the Goose & Gander menu was a little intimidating.(I also need to expand my food vocabulary). So, my food choices were as tame as I could find on the menu, but still delicious.
- The atmosphere for the restaurant was great. It was tucked away beneath some trees and they had live music playing the entire time.
- We happened upon the restaurant while we were shopping, so there are other things to do around the area. Also, this restaurant was located in St. Helena.
